Jarvis Landry has fired back at the team’s critics in a post on Instagram.
The Cleveland Browns star wide receiver showed off his scars and rehab process in a post that delivered a long message about the recovery process, saying “you can’t put into words how much strain and will power is being used to get through your sessions.”
“Most days it’s hard to see the inches took in rehab. Most days you picking yourself up from falling. Most days you can’t put into words how much strain and will power is being used to get through your sessions,” Landry wrote. “Fear, frustration, anxiousness, discouragement sets in, and it’s so easy to feel sorry for yourself when you’re doing hard things.”
“P.S EveryBody that was talking s–t last year, ima see you when I see you and I ain’t got s–t to say,” he wrote.
Landry underwent surgery in February after playing the entire 2019 season with a hip injury. The 27-year-old still managed to finish finished 10th in the NFL with 1,174 yards and scored six touchdowns.
Despite his greatness on the field, the Browns could never live up to the hype that was created last offseason when they acquired Odell Beckham Jr. They finished third in the division with a 6-10 record.
