The Cleveland Browns are feeling so generous that they’re adjusting the rules a bit ahead of Saturday’s Week 16 home game against the New Orleans Saints.
As noted by Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, the Browns-Saints game will have a “RealFeel” temperature of a freezing 37 below. It’s going to be so cold that the Browns will let fans bring in some items that are otherwise barred for regular home games.
The Browns announced that because of the freezing conditions, fans are permitted to bring in a thermos that’s 20 ounces or less, blankets, portable chargers and non-dry cell batteries, as long as they don’t exceed the limit:
It’s a nice gesture of the Browns, who will need all the energy and crowd noise they can get in what’s a must-win game. The 6-8 Browns will need to win out and get some help if they’re to make the playoffs for the second time in three years.
