Prayers up for Troy Hill. The Cleveland Browns cornerback attempted and failed at tackle on a touchdown scoring drive by the Patriots, and he paid for it dearly as he could not get off the ground with an undisclosed injury.
Hill was attempting to make a tackle on Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, who remained on his feet and made his way into the end zone for his first career touchdown.
While all the Pats players celebrated the big moment with their teammate, Hill was seen in a considerable amount of pain on the ground. Players from both sides eventually huddled around Hill and gave him a round of applause as he was stretchered off the field.
One wonders why the starters were still even in the game as the contest had been decided long ago.
