With the Kyrie Irving and Brooklyn Nets being back together for one more year, more information has come out in the contract talks between them.
It was reported that the organization had made the guard a “real offer.”
According to ESPN’s Zach Lowe said the following on his podcast, The Lowe Post;
“The Nets have made a real offer to Kyrie Irving. I don’t know the exact permutations. Probably several. This is not a case where there’s a one-year deal and that’s it. He’s been offered real stuff but I don’t exactly know what they are.”
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Nets offered Irving a four-year max contract with two years guaranteed.
The team was originally hesitant to give the seven-time All-Star a four-year extension, citing unreliability throughout the season as a reason not to.
