The Denver Broncos could be nearing another significant trade after pulling off a shocking move for Russell Wilson last offseason. With the NFL’s legal tampering period now open, it appears another noteworthy development could be inbound.
According to Dan Graziano of ESPN, the team is intent on dealing one of their starting wide receivers and has discussed Jerry Jeudy, Cortland Sutton, and KJ Hamler in trade talks with other teams.
Graziano also reports that Denver has set high asking prices on the players and one of them could be traded at some point.
Either player could be a starter on most teams in the NFL. Jeudy was a first-round pick in 2020 and has made 157 receptions for 2,295 yards and nine touchdowns in 41 games. Sutton, a second-round pick in 2018, has played 65 games for the Broncos, registering 3,487 yards off of 239 receptions and scoring 14 touchdowns.
Hamler was also picked in the second round, going pro in 2020. Since then, he’s snatched 42 receptions for 620 rounds and three touchdowns in 23 games. While a talented receiver, Hamler’s career has been marred by injuries and he hasn’t played more than 13 games in a single season since entering the NFL.
The 23-year-old made 30 receptions for 381 yards and three TDs as a rookie but played just three games the following season. He had involvement in seven games in 2022/23 and has only made 12 receptions over the past two campaigns.

Hamler is entering the final year of his career, while next season could be the last on Jeudy’s deal if the Broncos don’t pick up his fifth-year option. Sutton, meanwhile, is under contract through 2025.
