The Michigan Wolverines and Ohio State Buckeyes have one of the biggest rivalries in college football. Michigan has now won the last two games against Ohio State after losing eight in a row.
With his college and NFL careers over, Maurice Clarett wants a job around the sport that he loves and with the team where he made his name.
Former Ohio State running back Maurice Clarett took to Twitter on Saturday and demanded that he be put on the staff after the team got destroyed by the Michigan Wolverines in the latest instalment of their rivalry.
“I’m going to show up to the facility everyday until they put me on the staff,” he tweeted.
“I’m putting my application in to be defensive coordinator later this afternoon..” he wrote on Twitter.

Clarett was a standout freshman for the Buckeyes in the 2002 national championship season, rushing for 1,237 yards and 16 touchdowns. He also added 12 catches for 104 yards and two scores through the air.
His 18 total touchdowns were a program record for a freshman until TreVeyon Henderson bested it last season. However, Clarett had multiple off-field incidents that had him suspended for the 2003 season and later dismissed from the school.
He would soon be selected by the Denver Broncos with the 101st overall in the third round. However, after further disappointments and incidents with his coaches and never playing a preseason game, Clarett was released only a month after signing a contract and before playing a down in the NFL.
In 2010, he signed with the Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football League and finished his first season with 154 yards on the ground on 37 attempts and a touchdown. He also caught 12 passes for 98 yards.
