The Denver Broncos secured their first win on Sunday, yet nobody is happy with the team’s play overall against the Houston Texans.
Following his first two weeks as an NFL head coach, Nathaniel Hackett looks like he won’t be lasting long.
After repeated clock issues against the Texans, Broncos fans took charge and started audibly counting down the play clock to help out the team.
Hackett has easily been the most scrutinized coach through the first two weeks of this season. But all of the criticism certainly isn’t undeserving.
Last week, it was poor management at the end of the game that caused many to go after Hackett’s decision-making. Trailing by one point with less than a minute remaining and all three timeouts still available, Hackett opted to have kicker Brandon McManus attempt a 64-yards field-goal, rather than go for it and try to get closer.
