Brock Purdy has come into fame on the back of his stellar performance for the San Francisco 49ers against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. It’s unlikely that many fans would have even known who he was heading into Sunday’s game.
The entire NFL fanbase should know exactly who Brock Purdy is now. His probably became the subject of multiple Google searches after it was announced he would start against Tampa Bay on the weekend.
Purdy’s parents were at his big game but it wasn’t even because of him; they bought their tickets to watch Tom Brady. Before you cast judgment, they had no idea their son would even play, let alone start. Of course, they must have been there to support him too.
They were probably disappointed to see Brady have one of the worst games of his career, yet their son’s performance more than made up – it even brought his father to tears. The 49ers ended up beating the Bucs 35-7 as Brock found success with 16 of his 21 passes, throwing for 185 yards and two touchdowns. He also scored a TD himself.
Brock’s Girlfriend And Sister Have Gone Viral After His Superb Performance
Also joining his parents were Brock’s girlfriend Jenna Brandt and his sister Whitney. They’re as famous as San Francisco’s No.13 now. They were also in the mix while the young quarterback celebrated after his big game.
“Woke up this morning feeling like this was all a dream…words can’t even explain how happy we are for you Brock!” Whittney Purdy posted as the caption to a post on Instagram. “It’s been an amazing ride together as a family. Everyone’s support is through the roof!”

Like Brock, Jenna attended Iowa State. However, she transferred to the University of Northern Iowa.
She played volleyball for both of their programs.
Last year, Jenna won the Missouri Valley Conference President’s Council Academic and Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Awards, also making the MVC Honor Roll.
She and Brock became official on IG in November.
