Brock Purdy’s fiancee shared a heartwarming reaction to the San Francisco 49ers quarterback making it to the Super Bowl following a come-from-behind performance vs. the Detroit Lions on Sunday night.
Purdy, who is in his second pro season after being drafted as the final pick of the 2022 NFL Draft, has exceeded expectations, taking his team to the final hurdle and even dominating the MVP conversation for a stretch in 2023.
He led a 17-point comeback in the second half of Sunday’s game after the Niners went into halftime 24-7, which ultimately led to a win that saw them through to the biggest game on the football calendar.
Just as he did against the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round, Purdy came alive in the second half of the contest to fire the team down the field on huge drives.
His fiancee, Jenna Brandt, took to Instagram to celebrate the achievement, noting how proud she is of the former Iowa State quarterback.
Purdy is set to take on the biggest challenge of his young career as Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are up next.
