Brock Purdy is a starting quarterback on a team with a 4-0 record and has yet to lose a regular-season game as a starter since he was thrust into the spotlight in the middle of last season. But he still isn’t living on his own, nor has he replaced his old car.

“So he and I are still splitting rent,” he said. “I still drive my Toyota Sequoia.”
Purdy’s salary definitely shouldn’t be able to hold him back when it comes to striking out on his own or getting a luxurious, new whip. He’s just being smart.
There’s also the fact that San Francisco has the third-highest cost of living among all cities in the United States.
