Patrick Mahomes left the Kansas City Chiefs’ divisional-round playoff game against the Cleveland Browns in the third quarter and was later ruled out with a concussion Sunday.
It was a shocking moment as Chiefs fans waited for any and all updates.
That update came in the form of his fiancee Brittany Matthews on Twitter:
Mahomes was taken to the locker room shortly after the injury, which took place on a rushing attempt.
He has since been replaced by Chad Henne.
