After Kansas City’s 42-36 overtime victory against Buffalo on Sunday, NFL fans quickly threw their support to the Bengals ahead of next week’s AFC Championship game, not because they want Patrick mahomes and company to lose, but because social media seems unified in their annoyance towards his supporters — specifically, his fiancée, Matthews, and younger brother, Jackson.
Brittany Matthews was up in her suite supporting her man Patrick Mahomes during the epic Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills game, she took a bottle of champagne and sprayed it over the roaring crowd below her. She posted a video of the celebratory moment on Instagram and wrote, “Chiefs Kingdom, YALL ROCK.” On Twitter, she wrote, “Oops.”
Matthews saw all of the backlash online, so she responded to it the next day.

Matthews has fiercely defended the Chiefs on Twitter throughout the 2021 season, sometimes drawing the ire of social media critics. Anytime Jackson dances, he seems to cause controversies, but he took his behavior to another level during the regular season.
Jackson threw water on opposing fans after the Chiefs lost a game and then got called out for acting like entitled brat by a Kansas City hotspot.
After this AFC Divisional win, the Chiefs move on to face the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship Game. If Patrick and the Chiefs make it to the Super Bowl, they won’t be having a rematch against Tom Brady and Tampa Bay Buccaneers after their epic comeback fell short against the Rams.
