Chiefs fans have spoken.
Patrick Mahomes’ fiancee, Brittany Matthews, has been facing major criticism on social media after a viral tweet showed her spraying Chiefs fans with champagne following the team’s divisional-round win over the Bills.
Matthews joyously sprays champagne over the crowd below her and she has been getting blasted for her actions because of how cold it was in Arrowhead stadium and the children that may have been in the area.
Just before the AFC Championship game against the Bengals, Matthews posted a video showing Chiefs fans with signs letting her know they wanted even more champagne.
Former Missouri Secretary of State Jason Kander chastised fans who criticized Matthews after she adopted Kansas City as her home and community.
