Patrick Mahomes is a lot of things, but not a lot of people would refer to him as being selfish.
On Friday, the Kansas City Star caused a wave of backlash when they ran a fan’s opinion that completely ripped Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. The newspaper ran a “letter to the editor” article that featured a fan calling out the team’s franchise QB for being “selfish.”

“After watching the Kansas City Chiefs for the past two years, I think it is clear that Patrick Mahomes is not a team player. He doesn’t care if his team wins or loses. All he cares about is how he looks. It’s beginning to look very obvious. He’s a good quarterback but really doesn’t care about his team as a whole.”
Chiefs fans ripped that article apart, and it eventually made it around to Brittany Mahomes.
“Y’all are extremely ignorant for this. Kansas City doesn’t do this to it’s people, what a joke you guys are.”

Brittany Mahomes has gained quite a lot of attention on social media. Earlier this year, Mahomes and Brittany announced her second pregnancy.
Mahomes is off to another hot start in Kansas City. He’s completing 67.9 percent of his pass attempts for 857 yards, eight touchdowns and an interception.
Back in August, Texas Tech athletic director Kirby Hocutt announced that Mahomes will be added to the school’s Ring of Honor and Hall of Fame during a campus ceremony on Oct. 28. Mahomes played three seasons at Texas Tech from 2014-16.
In his two full seasons as the starting quarterback, Mahomes threw for 9,705 yards and 77 touchdowns in 25 games.
