Patrick Mahomes’ wife had a lot to say after she held a Q&A session this week on her Instagram.
Brittany Mahomes, the former professional soccer player who played for the Icelandic team UMF Afturelding/Fram before returning to the United States, slammed claims that she’s a “gold digger.”
Patrick and Brittany have been together for more than ten years and have two children together, but despite their long history together, Brittany has faced accusations of being a gold digger and questions about her marriage.
While answering more fan responses, the Texas native was told “You’re a gold digger!!” someone anonymously wrote in the box where they were supposed to ask a question.
“I wish I dug and found gold,” Brittany hit back, including a smiling face emoji in her response.
It’s not the first time Brittany has felt the need to speak out. On February 27 she tweeted: “Something about grown men talking s*** about someone’s wife is real weird…”

She never revealed who she was speaking about, but many think that it was Joe Rogan, who seemingly mocked her on his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience.
