Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes has a good idea of what he’s going to do during the team’s bye week.
Like millions around the world, Mahomes and some of his Chiefs teammates are thrilled about the release of the highly-anticipated video game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
When the Super Bowl 54 champion and MVP tagged several teammates in a tweet about the new COD game, Brittany came back with a hilarious one-word response:
The official Call of Duty Twitter account responded to Brittany, asking her to excuse Patrick.
Earlier this week, Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster stated that Call of Duty has actually helped the chemistry between him, Mahomes, tight end Travis Kelce and wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

The results on the field certainly speak for themselves. The Chiefs bolster the No. 1 scoring offense in the league (31.9 points per game), and only the Buffalo Bills (440.8) average more yards per tilt than Mahomes and company (403.3).
The 27-year-old Mahomes has 2,159 passing yards and 20 touchdowns against five interceptions. Kelce (who else?) is the Chiefs leading receiver with 47 receptions for 553 yards and seven touchdowns.
Smith-Schuster, signed in free agency, has fit at home in the KC offense with 34 catches for 494 yards and two touchdowns. Valdes-Scantling, who the Chiefs also added in free agency, has 22 receptions for 369 yards.
Kansas City is sitting pretty atop the AFC West with a 5-2 record heading into their bye week. The AFC West was largely expected to be football’s toughest division this year, but the Los Angeles Chargers (4-3), are the only other squad there with a winning record.
Barring a second-half surge from the banged-up Chargers and an uncharacteristic second half slump from the Chiefs, Andy Reid’s group should cruise to a seventh straight division title.
