Patrick and Brittany Mahomes’ baby son Bronze suffered an allergic reaction last year and the wife of the Chiefs star is now speaking out.
Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, experienced a scary moment when they had to rush their newborn son to the ER.
The former soccer player revealed how she felt during an emergency trip to the hospital with their now-13-month-old baby, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon after he suffered a severe allergic reaction to peanuts in August 2023.
In an Instagram video, Brittany described the ordeal as “one of the scariest experiences of [her] life,” while emphasizing the importance of educating parents on recognizing and responding to such situations.
“So I have an infant and a toddler both who have severe food allergies, and I think it is very important to raise awareness of what a severe reaction may look like if it were to happen to a child,” Brittany explained.
The video was created in partnership with AUVI-Q, an epinephrine injection used to treat allergic reactions in infants and toddlers.
