Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, has dropped some cryptic posts on Instagram amid her brother-in-law’s sexual battery case.
Jackson Mahomes is in some hot water with the law, having been charged with aggravated sexual battery following accusations from back in February.
The 23-year-old, Patrick’s younger brother, was accused of the aforementioned by Kansas City restaurant owner Aspen Vaughn, with the latter claiming Jackson grabbed her by the throat and kissed her. Surveillance footage provided to the police shows the TikTok star doing just that.
Jackson is currently out on a $100,000 bond and was in court this Tuesday as he sought an amendment to the bail terms.
Brittany posted some cryptic quotes to her IG story the day before suggesting she’s fine with letting some people go amid the scandal.
“As you get older you start to understand the difference between friends and associates, family and blood, business and work, love and lust, want and need. And most of all what’s important and what’s not,” one of them reads.
Another reads, “Unfortunately, a lot of y’all met me when I lacked boundaries and was a people pleaser. Let me reintroduce myself, I burn bridges as needed.”

Patrick has so far refused to comment publicly on the matter and we can’t be sure Brittany’s posts have anything to do with it, though the timing is a bit suspect.
Jackson has been charged with misdemeanor battery too as he was also accused of shoving a waiter at the restaurant owned by Vaughn in an isolated incident.
On Monday, Johnson County District Judge Thomas Sutherland ordered the release of a police affidavit that had been redacted. The document notes that Jackson “grabbed [Vaughn] by the throat, forcing her head back and kissed her and put his tongue in her mouth” three times bereft of her consent and told her not to tell anyone afterward.
