At this point, Brittany Mahomes can’t say much of anything on social media without being blasted for it.
Earlier this year, Mahomes and Brittany announced her second pregnancy. A few days ago, Brittany took to Twitter to show her excitement about the upcoming addition to her family, and about her new house being built.
“Started with building a house when I was pregnant with Sterling, I am now about to have another child and….still working on the house. life is fun!”
Unfortunately, a lot of her followers did not appreciate what she said. It came right at the time that Hurricane Ian was barrelling down on Florida as many folks lost just about everything.
Some reminded her of the privileged position she is in and to be mindful about what she is saying while the less fortunate are struggling.

Ian, now a post-tropical cyclone, has left Florida and wreaking havoc on other states. The powerful storm, estimated to be one of the costliest hurricanes ever to hit the U.S., has terrorized people for much of the week.
The current death toll in Florida sits at 21, with many more expected.
Earlier this week, President Joe Biden said Ian “could be the deadliest hurricane in Florida history,” responsible for a “substantial loss of life.”
