Kenny Stills, who had been kneeling before games in support of former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and to protest social injustice, once said that Jay-Z’s involvement with the league “doesn’t sit right with me.” The former Miami Dolphins wide receiver also criritcized Stephen Ross for hs decision to hold a fundraiser for President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign.
“We agreed to disagree and that was it,” Stills said, per Hal Habib of the Palm Beach Post. “There’s not much to argue about,” he added. “He has his feelings about it and he stands firm in that and I respect that. But I disagree and I told him there’s no hard feelings. There’s no beef and let’s win some games this year.”
In response to Stills comments about Jay-Z — Brian Flores chose to feature a Jay-Z-heavy playlist at practice that included eight consecutive tracks.
That moment is being brought up this week after Flores filed a lawsuit against the NFL alleging racist practices in the hiring process with NFL owners.

Along with Stills — Tua Tagovailoa has infamously had a rocky relationship with Flores, and, the deatils came out after he was dismissed. According to Stills and others involved with the Dolphins, Flores played favorites when it came to players and Tua was never one of “his guys.”
The “other s*it” we later found out was Flores allegedly having Tua tested for PEDs multiple times during the season because he didn’t believe that his body transformation was natural.
There was a good chance that Flores would get another job as a head coach based on his defensive success over the years, but his lawsuit likely ended his career in the league, which he has already acknowledged.
