There aren’t many people seeking out the opinions of Brett Favre these days based on what he has going on in Mississippi, but Fox News seemed to care about his thoughts regarding Tom Brady.
The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback announced his retirement in a video placed on various social media accounts. If it’s truly over, then his career ends after 23 seasons and seven Super Bowl rings.
Favre, who’s a fellow legendary quarterback, was pretty much like everybody else who have to see Brady go the entire offseason before actually believing he is not coming back.
“Well, based on my own experiences, I have to see it to believe it. But my gut tells me this is it for him. He’s had a brilliant, brilliant career and there’s nothing left for him to accomplish. Not that that’s the reason to or not to come back. But I feel like, this time, is certainly the last time,” Favre said, via FOXBusiness.com.
In the hours following his retirement, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen posted a heartfelt message for ex-husband Tom Brady.
“Wishing you only wonderful things in this new chapter of your life,” Bündchen wrote in a comment on Brady’s Instagram post.
Brady and Bündchen announced their divorce after 13 years of marriage back in October.

Brady announced his retirement on the same day last year, but would soon make his way back after 40 days.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion got emotional as he thanked all those who were involved in his career, which leads you to believe that he is serious this time around.
“I’m retiring — for good. I know the process was a pretty big deal last time. So, when I woke up this morning, I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first. So, I won’t be long-winded. You only get one super emotional retirement essay and I used mine up last year,” Brady said.
“I really thank you guys so much, to every single one of you for supporting me. My family, my friends, my teammates, my competitors… I can go on forever. There’s too many. Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream. I wouldn’t change a thing.”
