Like most NFL players, Breece Hall loves him some Madden. But it appears the game has also turned into an avenue for fans to reach out and bash him.
The New York Jets running back took to X this week to reveal a fan found him via his PS5 to throw some trash talk his way, advising him to score touchdowns in real life and not just in the aforementioned video game.
“Y’all texting me off PS5 now?” he posted along with a GIF of a message a PlayStation Network user going by “Louis Valenti” sent him.
“Maybe the Jets would win more if you could score a TD in real life, not in Madden,” Louis wrote, adding, “Gg ez pal.”
The Jets are 1-3 to start the season, one in which they were expected to at least make it to the playoffs. Unfortunately, things haven’t quite worked out as Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending Achilles injury during his first drive as a Jets player.
Hall, meanwhile, leads the team with 210 rushing yards. However, the team has only scored one rushing TD all season and he was not the one who ran it in, with Nick Bawden doing so against the New England Patriots in Week 3.

The RB has voiced his frustration with the team’s ground game on social media, posting and deleting four football emojis to mark the four touches he got against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2. So it’s not like he doesn’t want to score touchdowns, it’s just been a tough run.
