Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero are reporting that the Washington Football Team has placed second-year QB Dwayne Haskins on waivers Monday.
The news comes just hours after the 23-year-old was demoted to 3rd-string QB.
In 2020, Haskins has appeared in six games for Washington and completed 62.9 percent of his passes for 1,285 yards, five touchdowns and five interceptions. He has also rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown.
On Sunday, Haskins found himself being benched in the second half game against the Panthers as he went 14-for-28 passing for 154 yards passing and two interceptions.
