The coronavirus is not only affecting several athletes in the NBA, NHL, and MLB, it is also affecting the people who talk about the sports.
On Sunday, John Ourand revealed that two ESPN employees based out of New York City have tested positive for coronavirus. Names of the infected persons were not disclosed, but it was stated that both employees had been working from home since March 11th or 12th.
The employees who tested positive reportedly worked out of ESPN’s offices on West 66th Street in Manhattan, not a place where the Worldwide leader in Sports produces any of its shows.
Players like Kevin Durant, Marcus Smart, Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell, and two Lakers players have tested positive for the virus.
Sports leagues around the country have halted all sports-related activities to try and stop the spread of COVID-19.
