BREAKING: Seattle Seahawks Waive DE/LB Shaquem Griffin

According to Michael-Shawn Dugar, the Seahawks are waiving LB Shaquem Griffin.

The Seahawks are waiving DE/LB Shaquem Griffin, per source. A 2018 fifth-round pick, Shaquem seemed to have found a home as a pass-rusher/strongside LB, but now he’ll be available on waivers.

Griffin was one of those inspirational stories when he was drafted in the fifth round with just one hand in 2018. Now his story will have to continue somewhere else.

He was selected with the No. 141 overall pick in the fifth-round by the Seahawks out of UCF.

In 2019, Griffin appeared in all 16 games for the Seahawks and recorded three total tackles.
