The New Orleans Saints are in some serious trouble.
The franchise is facing major discipline once again for violations of the NFL’s policies on COVID-19 which may have contributed in running back Alvin Kamara testing positive for the virus and missing the team’s Week 17 game.
Video shows interaction in the facility with a person not employed by the club who turned out to be positive. Kamara was only able to return for the wild-card round because of a favorable scheduling decision.
The Saints previously were fined $250,000 and coach Sean Payton $100,000 for failing to properly wear face coverings in Week 2.
The team found themselves being fined $500K as well as being stripped of a seventh-round pick for a mask-less celebration following its Week 9 win.
This latest violation may lead to even more picks taken as well as bigger fines.
