BREAKING: Roger Goodell Sends Memo Informing Teams The 2020 NFL Draft Will Not Be Postponed

For the first time in a long time, Roger Goodell is being praised for a decision he made.

On Thursday, the commissioner sent out a memo to all NFL teams to inform them that the 2020 NFL Draft will go on as scheduled on the dates of April 23-25.

Goodell informed teams they “should be doing the necessary planning to conduct Draft operations in a location outside of your facility, with a limited number of people present, and with sufficient technology resources to….communicate with other clubs and Draft headquarters.” https://t.co/iHaf5d8eJn

Several NFL general mangers had been calling for the draft to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The NFL already had said the draft would be held without fans and would be held in a studio instead of in Las Vegas.
