Another month, another Raiders player has gotten in trouble with the law.
Just a few hours after a victory, Las Vegas Raiders player Nate Hobbs would find himself arrested for DUI in Las Vegas. The cornerback was allegedly found asleep in his car on a parking lot exit ramp in Las Vegas.
The police were responding to a call from a local hotel and casino when witnesses saw 22-year-old Hobbs passed out around 4am. Sources speaking to TMZ said that Hobbs was woken up by police offers, and then did not pass field sobriety tests when administered. He would be arrested and booked at the Clark County Detention Center.
“A jail official tells us Hobbs was booked on one count of misdemeanor DUI and is currently in the process of being released from custody.”
Hobbs is expected to appear in court in May.
A fifth-round pick out of Illinois, cornerback Nate Hobbs has been one of the best rookie defenders in the NFL.
For the year, he has 67 tackles, including 5.5 tackles for loss, one INT, 11 passes defensed and one fumble recovery.
