The Carolina Panthers had a ridiculous amount of quarterbacks on their roster, so they decided to get rid of one.
On Monday, the team announced the trade of Kyle Allen to the Redskins.
Allen signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent back in 2018. In 2019, he played 13 games and passed for 3,322 yards, 17 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.
The move comes after the Panthers signed Houston Roughnecks star QB PJ Walker.
