On Wednesday morning, the Green Bay Packers suddenly decided to part ways with standout defensive lineman Mike Daniels after seven seasons, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
It was just a shocking move on the same day that the Green Bay Packers officially reported to training camp.
Daniels, who was drafted in the 4th-round in 2012, recorded 29 sacks in 102 games (72 starts), along with 236 total tackles, two forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries.
He had one year remaining on a four-year contract extension he signed during the 2015 season.
