Jordy Nelson’s time in Oakland has come to an end.
Just days after announcing the acquisition of top-3 WR Antonio Brown, the franchise announced on Thursday that they would be parting ways with Jordy Nelson.
Nelson received a 2-year contract from the Raiders just last season. Nelson was largely overlooked last season after a slow start, but would rebound with 38 catches over the last five weeks of 2018, third most in the NFL over that time.
The Raiders save about $3.5 million in cap space.
