The NFL owners have made a huge change to overtime, but only for the postseason.
On Tuesday, it was reported that league owners passed a proposal that both teams would receive a possession in overtime, but this will only apply in the playoffs.
Regular season overtime rules will remain the same.
The new rule means Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills would’ve gotten a possession against the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round matchup against the Chiefs instead of watching from the sidelines as they lost the game.
