The NFL is set to make a major change to its 2024-25 postseason coverage.
According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, Amazon Prime Video will broadcast its first exclusive NFL postseason came on Prime Video next year. Amazon currently just finished its second year of covering the “Thursday Night Football” coverage.
Amazon will be taking over the Wild Card Round game spot that NBCUniversal exclusively streamed on Peacock earlier this year; the streaming service aired the Miami Dolphins-Kansas City Chiefs Wild Card Round game last month.
Amazon Prime Video landed the TNF rights after FOX decided not to retain the package following the 2021 season. Legendary play-by-play man Al Michaels and ESPN college analyst Kirk Herbstreit are the voices of “Thursday Night Football” for Amazon.
