There hasn’t been many updates on the condition of Damar Hamlin up to this point, but we do finally have some good news, as his friend and marketing rep has reported that the Bills safety has his vitals back.
According to Jordan Rooney, Hamlin was put to sleep at the hospital so that they could put a tube down his throat. They are currently running tests on him.
This is good news but it’s still a frightening situation and Hamlin is not out of the woods just yet.
The second-year player collapsed on the field in the first quarter after a violent collision with Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins. After getting to his feet for a moment, he collapsed to the ground and medics rushed to give him CPR on the field.
The game was officially postponed moments later as players from both teams were incredibly distraught over the incident.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Hamlin and his family at the moment. Hopefully he can pull through.
