If refs would’ve called a pass interference against the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Title game, the New Orleans Saints would have to deal with a much bigger story today.
Not only did the fan base take the decision pretty hard, it seems as if one of the players on the team was trying to drink his anger away.
New Orleans Saints cornerback P.J. Williams got himself arrested overnight on a DWI charge after New Orleans police say he was driving 30 mph over the speed limit on the Crescent City Connection Bridge. That was the initial reason to pull him over, but once cops got to his car, they suspected that he was intoxicated and tried to administer a breath test, to which he refused, so he was arrested, according to multiple reports.
Williams was booked on charges including driving while intoxicated, speeding, improper lane usage, careless driving and failure to use a turn signal.
Williams had a solid 2018 and he is due to be an unrestricted free agent in March.
