The New England Patriots are bringing back a familiar face.
On Sunday, Jim McBride of the Boston Globe reported that the team reached an agreement with QB Brian Hoyer.
The expectation is that Hoyer will serve as the backup to Jarrod Stidham, but things could quickly change if he struggles during the 2020 season.
Hoyer appeared in 4 games for the Colts in 2019 and 35 of 65 pass attempts (53.8 percent) for 372 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions.
