On Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Patriots are releasing WR Mohamed Sanu.
The Falcons traded Sanu to the Patriots for a second-round pick before last year’s deadline.
The 30-year-old appeared in 15 games for the Patriots and Falcons and caught 59 passes for 520 yards receiving and touchdowns. He also rushed for 11 yards.
