BREAKING: Multiple Cleveland Browns Players Reportedly Busted For Drag Racing

Just days after the Cleveland Browns clinched a playoff berth for the first time since 2002, things appear to be crashing down as they head into a Wild Card playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Hours after it was announced that several members of the team tested positive for COVID-19 and they will miss Sunday’s game against the Steelers, it was reported that rookie left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. and wideout Rashard Higgins — were both cited for drag racing on Tuesday.

Attorney Kevin Spellacy, who is representing #Browns WR Rashard Higgins and LT Jedrick Wills Jr., tells me he’ll plead not guilty for both players on drag-racing charges Wednesday morning. It’s a first-degree misdemeanor punishable by up to 6 months and a $1,000 fine.

#Browns WR Rashard Higgins cited for drag racing Tuesday morning by Westlake police. From team: “We are aware of the incident, will gather more information and handle this matter appropriately.”

Higgins made fun of the situation with two deleted tweets.

One said “foot slipped srry [sic].”

Higgins has 37 catches for 599 yards and four touchdowns this season.

Wills was the No. 10 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and he started in all but one game this season.
