On Tuesday, the Baltimore Ravens made the shocking decision to go ahead and release safety Eric Weddle.
After rumors of Weddle possibly hanging up his cleats and retiring for good, the veteran safety decided to give himself a chance to win a ring by agreeing to sign with the Los Angeles Rams on Friday.
Weddle is 34-years-old as he now enters free agency. He recorded 68 tackles, one sack, and no interceptions in 16 games in 2018.
