It seems like we’ve been getting nothing but good news regarding the status of Damar Hamlin over the past few days. And while that’s a great thing, the family of Hamlin is said to be “remaining patient” while continuing to ask for everyone’s thoughts and prayers.
ESPN’s Coley Harvey said he spoke to a relative of Damar this morning. He was told that the family is “elated” with his progress so far, but they are still remaining cautions and have dealt with “a real roller coaster of emotion this week.”
Friday morning, it was reported that Hamlin had his breathing tube removed and was speaking with his teammates. He even made an appearance at their team meeting via a Zoom call, which was a very encouraging sign for Hamlin and the Bills players.
The Bills will be taking on the New England Patriots on Sunday, and you can bet that they’ll have their teammate on their minds as they look to secure a win in the final week of the season.
