If you thought the Minnesota Vikings were ready to move on from Kirk Cousins, think again.
According to several sources, Cousins and the Vikings have agreed to a one-year extension that will keep him in Minny through the 2023 season. The deal is worth $35-million fully guaranteed, and it includes a raise for that will earn Cousins $40-million for the 2022 season.
According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Vikings were committed to keeping Cousins around the entire time, despite all the rumors suggesting otherwise.
Earlier today, it was reported that the Vikings were planning to make Cousins available for trade, with the Colts and Seahawks being named as the two most likely destinations.
