This move may get overshadowed by the breaking Deshaun Watson-to-the-Browns trade, but it appears as though the Kansas City Chiefs are tired of waiting around, watching all of their AFC foes make significant additions while they remain idle.
The defending AFC runner-ups have announced that they will be signing former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster. The deal is for one year and is worth $10.75-million.
The Chiefs have been in desperate need of a number two wideout behind Tyreek Hill. They may have finally found one, as you’d have to think Juju will be an upgrade over the likes of Sammy Watkins, Mecole Hardman and Byron Pringle.
This is also a good opportunity for Juju to reset his market value, as playing with Mahomes should help provide an uptick to his overall stat line.
