BREAKING: Jon Gruden & Sean Payton Fined For Not Wearing Masks

The NFL is not playing with these coaches when they said they will adhere to the rules of wearing their masks while on the sidelines during games.

According to Tom Pelissero, the NFL has fined Raiders HC Jon Gruden and Saints HC Sean Payton each $100,000 for not wearing their masks properly in Monday night’s game.

Both teams were also fined $250,000 each. The NFL has now issued $1.75 million in fines for sideline mask violations by head coaches in Week 2.

The NFL is fining the #Saints and #Raiders $250,000 each and coaches Sean Payton and Jon Gruden $100,000 each for failing to properly wear face coverings in the bench area Monday night, per source.

That brings the total to $1.75 million in total fines for violations in Week 2.

It was Monday when the league handed out fines to Broncos HC Vic Fangio, Seahawks HC Pete Carroll and 49ers HC Kyle Shanahan for the same thing.
