At long last, Jim Harbaugh is back in the NFL.
According to Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the beloved Michigan Wolverines head coach is being hired as the the new head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers.
Harbaugh had a second interview with the Bolts on Tuesday, and it appears as though both sides were able to quickly hammer out an agreement before he went through with other interviews.
The Chargers fired head coach Brandon Staley after 14 games and had Giff Smith finish out the year as the interim HC. Nine long years away from the NFL, Harbaugh is finally back after leading Michigan to a national championship.
