The marriage between the New York Jets and Le’Veon Bell was bad from the start, and it’s only right that it ends with a swift divorce.
According to Manish Mehta, the Jets are shopping RB Le’Veon Bell with the hopes of trading him sooner rather than later.
Bell held out the entire 2018 season after the Steelers franchise tagged him and then allowed him to be a free agent that offseason. The Jets later signed Bell to a four-year, $52.5 million contract worth up to $61 million and including $35 million guaranteed.
Bell has appeared in two games for the Jets and rushed 19 times for 74 yards while catching three passes for 39 yards and no touchdowns during the 2020 season.
