Jemele Hill and Cari Champion were very good friends from their time together on ESPN, and even though both have moved on to the next phase of their career, the two have kept in touch.
They’ll be doing that a lot more in the future as the two of them are reportedly nearing a deal to host evening talk show on Vice, sources told Outkick.
The show will air 30 minutes weekly.
“Discussions for the show’s start date are ongoing. It is likely that it will launch as soon as this summer.”
Since leaving ESPN, Hill has had roles at The Atlantic and Spotify, and recently debuted a podcast on The Wire with The Ringer.
Champion left ESPN earlier this year after her contract expired.
