There you have it. J.J. Watt has his new team, and it’s probably not who you thought it would be.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the three-time defensive player of the year is signing with the Arizona Cardinals.
Watt was released by the Houston Texans earlier this offseason, and he’s been taking his time evaluating his options with a fine tooth comb. Earlier today, it was believed that he could be headed to either the Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns or Buffalo Bills, based on his Peloton bio update:
I guess he was just playing games with all of us.
Watt will join Chandler Jones to create what will undoubtedly be one of the most feared pass-rushing duos ever assembled.
