The rumors and rumblings about Philip Rivers to the Indianapolis Colts over the past few weeks have become reality.
On Tuesday, the Indianapolis Colts all but made it official.
During the 2019 season, Rivers passed for 4,615 yards, 23 touchdowns and 20 interceptions with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Rivers is headed to a team that has some familiar faces in Colts head coach Frank Reich, who was the quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator for Rivers when they were both with the Chargers.
Rivers and the Chargers mutually parted ways this offseason after 16 years.
