BREAKING: Green Bay Packers Signing QB Blake Bortles

The Green Bay Packers have no idea if Aaron Rodgers will be on the roster when the 2021 season starts, so they need to prepare accordingly.

On Wednesday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the team would be signing veteran QB Blake Bortles to a one-year contract.

Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel made sure to note that Bortles signing would have little to do with the Aaron Rodgers situation, given that they currently have just two quarterbacks on their roster including Jordan Love.

The Bortles signing would have little to do with the Rodgers situation. GM Brian Gutekunst said he wanted to add a veteran QB before OTAs start and Bortles is available. Jordan Love is the only QB taking part in any #Packers activities, so they need at least two more QBs.
