The Green Bay Packers have no idea if Aaron Rodgers will be on the roster when the 2021 season starts, so they need to prepare accordingly.
On Wednesday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the team would be signing veteran QB Blake Bortles to a one-year contract.
Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel made sure to note that Bortles signing would have little to do with the Aaron Rodgers situation, given that they currently have just two quarterbacks on their roster including Jordan Love.
The 29-year-old has appeared in 78 games and completed 59.3 percent of his passes for 17,649 yards, 103 touchdowns and 75 interceptions.
