The Giants have benched Eli Manning and Daniel Jones has been named starting quarterback for Week 3.

This announcement comes less than 24 hours after Giants HC Pat Shurmur left the door open to a potential quarterback change.
Jones was selected by the Giants with the No. 6 overall pick, agreeing to a four-year, $25,664,056 rookie contract that includes $16,684,768 signing bonus.
If he plays well, Eli Manning might never see the field again this season.
